Bio:

I believe self-care is critical to an individual’s well-being and that everyday we wake up is a new beginning to rewrite our story. Currently, I am the Program Manager for Foster Care and NC’s Healthy Opportunities Pilot at the the Department of Health and Human Services.

I have an extensive background in budget management, case management, counseling, child protective services, adult protective services, foster care, supervision, crisis intervention, and oncology social work. I earned the following degrees from Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) and Fayetteville State University (FSU): A.A. Business Administration, B.S. Psychology, Masters of Social Work (MSW), and Graduate Certificate in Military Behavioral Health.

Outside of work, I am a Zumba instructor at the Nimocks Fitness Center. I enjoy dancing and engaging with the students. It is an absolute joy to see the smiles on their faces during class and the liquid gold (sweat) from an awesome calorie-burning workout.
