Allow me, my dear old colleague, to recommend in particular (illegible) importunant, former elector of the North Department, that I knew at that time in the line of the most zealous patriots, that I have met since in the great journeys, at a number of braver and more devout, and who is actually attached to the State Major of the National Parisian Garde. I desire greatly that you allow him to be utilized and I take double pleasure in this occasion of you receiving the expression of my old and constant friendship.
