CATHERINE HUSKE COLLECTION
The Catherine Huske Collection contains a variety of letters and store receipts spanning the 18th and early 19th centuries. Letters of particular note were written by Mary Ann Morrison Jackson (wife of Stonewall Jackson), Varina Jefferson-Davis (wife of Jefferson Davis), Letitia Tyler Simple (daughter of President John Tyler), and Curtis Lee (son of Robert E. Lee). Most of the store receipts are related to a Mr. Gilmore; the collection also includes letters requesting payment.
